Therapeutic Massage

Lois Cole.
Massage Therapist.
Diploma in Therapeutic Massage.
Member of the Federation of Holistic Therapists

I trained in massage 11 years ago at the College of Holistic Medicine. I have my own practice in Hathersage and work at the Anroach clinic on Tuesdays.

A holistic approach means looking at the person as a whole, including their emotional and mental well-being, whilst working on the physical plane. All these elements are inter-connected.

Holistic Therapeutic Massage- helps to restore and improve physical and emotional well-being. A person seems to become more aware of and responsive to their physical body and its needs.

Massage can be used to treat a wide variety of ailments and medical problems:-

  • Broken bones- helps heal
  • Sports injuries- speeds up the healing process and prevents injuries occurring.
  • Constipation- prevention and cure
  • Arthritis
  • Boosts the immune system
  • Relieves stress and tension
  • Improve self esteem and much more

Massage benefits most people but is particularly effective for the:-

  • Elderly
  • Sports people
  • Office workers
  • The stressed
  • Pregnant women

Cost:

I charge £35 per massage. Each session lasts an hour and the first time involves taking some physical and medical details.
